For Peer Reviewers

Peer review is an important part of the Early Education Journal.

The request to act as a peer reviewer will come in an email through a system-generated message. We ask all potential peer reviewers to accept or decline the review within a week of receiving the request. 

Once a peer review is accepted, we anticipate reviews will be completed within 4 weeks. Extended timeframes can be requested through the assigning editor.

Peer reviewers are requested to:
– declare any known conflicts of interest when they read any submission and to withdraw as a reviewer if they have such a conflict,
– keep the submission and their review of it confidential, and
– follow the guidelines for peer review, which are available once a review is accepted.

EEJ is regularly looking for peer reviewers.
